Showroom Sales Consultant
Recruiting in partnership with Hammonds Furniture, a family-run business that specializes in fitted furniture and tailored storage solutions. Their vision is to create well-ordered homes, believing their furniture has the power to transform living spaces.
Role Overview:
Life is chaotic. Modern homes can become hectic, cluttered, and messy. As a Showroom Sales Consultant, your role is to showcase what an ordered, calm, organized, and tidy home can feel like, helping customers envisage and bring to life their very own stylish sanctuary in the showroom.
You'll also be speaking to customers who have contacted us through digital platforms, aiming to build rapport and encourage them to come to the showroom or book a design visit.
How You Will Succeed:
1. By being brilliant at connecting with people; bringing a calm and professional energy to achieve showroom goals and deliver an award-winning customer service experience in person or over the phone.
2. Working collaboratively with your showroom manager and teams to continually put customers at the heart of the business.
3. Being passionate about collaboration and building meaningful relationships across the business to improve services for customers.
4. Focusing on converting customer interest (in person, over the phone, or digitally) into design visits, ensuring customers get the full bespoke Hammonds experience.
What It Takes:
You'll be great at reading people, able to spot when a customer needs a moment or is ready to hear more about their products. You'll be attentive and brilliant at listening, helping customers by securing appointments with the sole intent of enhancing their living experience.
You will also have a passion for style, order, and organization. As a Hammonds showroom team member, you will harness your creative and strong communication skills to support and inspire customers in selecting styles, colors, and finishes from our diverse fitted furniture design range, offering a completely bespoke and tailored customer service experience.
Working Hours:
You will be required to work 21 hours per week, working 3 out of 7 days between the hours of 09:00 - 17:00.
Compensation:
This role offers an annual basic salary of £12,492 plus commission on successful designer visits booked, with an attractive average OTE of up to £14,742 uncapped earnings.
Qualifications:
No qualifications are required for this role, and full training will be provided. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
