The School and Role
This Pupil Referral Unit, based in Bolton, caters for the needs of children and younger people with a range of Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs, many of which have become disengaged with education They are looking to appoint a support officer / behaviour Mentor who can motivate and engage the young people that attend this setting, as well as having experience of managing challenging behaviours. This role is a full time role is long term and potentially permanent. This would suit someone who has worked in the police, prison service, military or other similar roles.

Have a passion to change young peoples lives for the better
Have an understanding of Social, Emotional and Mental Health Issues.
Be able to work full time, Monday to Friday (term time only)
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
