The posts are within teams across the Pennine Care footprint to the east of Manchester.There are five Early Intervention Teams all achieving ‘top performing’ at the National Clinical Audit of Psychosis (NCAP).The organisation has secured additional investment to expand the psychological therapies service to people 14-35, with an at-risk mental state (ARMS).
To participate in the provision of a high quality care. This will involve assessing, supporting, monitoring of the service users who are experiencing 1stepisode psychosis and those who are suspected of developing psychosis. It will involve you’re working in a variety of community settings; it will include your liaising and co working with other services both statutory and non-statutory. It will involve you’re working with carers and families of service users and will involve seeing service users families and carers in their own homes, clinics or in other environments such as hostels, supported living, prisons, residential and nursing homes.
The Early intervention Team works with people ages 14 -65 experiencing their 1stepisode of psychosis or with those who are at risk of developing a psychosis.
