London (Hybrid) We are partnered with a leading global Insurance company who are seeking a Senior Project Manager In this pivotal role, you will: Utilise your generalist Project Management experience across the insurance industry, to lead on a range of cutting-edge projects in the London Market Use your leadership and mentoring skills to help manage and develop the wider change team. Take a leading role in driving best practice, governance and help set the strategic direction of the change function. Key Responsibilities: Support the PM Practice Lead with people management and mentoring of other Project Managers in the function. Take a leading role in driving best practice, continuous improvement across the division. Lead a number of change initiatives as project manager, across all appropriate workstreams including technology, regulatory and process change. Planning and designing project(s), workstreams and appropriate governance. Engage with business stakeholders, wider change teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) to define and agree project approach, project plans and costs. Monitors and reports project status against business case, plan, specific milestones. Proactively monitoring overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action. Learns from previous experience by participating in post implementation reviews, lessons learned sessions and knowledge share/peer reviews Key Experiences and Skills: Proven experience leading complex change projects ideally within the insurance sector, with deep knowledge of regulatory, technical, and business change Outstanding stakeholder management skills: the ability to influence, challenge the status quo, and deliver results. Expertise in utilising a range of project delivery methodologies. Strong planning and decision-making abilities, ensuring you consistently meet deadlines and deliver results Experience mentoring other PMs or desirably leading them through projects or programmes of work. Personal Specification: Passion for project management and change deliver in the financial services sector A growth mindset with the ambition to continuously drive improvement. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
