This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and dynamic team as a Key Worker, working with young people who require targeted support in our nurturing base and beyond.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Educated to SVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
2. Previous experience of working with young people within an educational setting, providing support to vulnerable young people and their families.
3. Understanding of issues facing pupils with additional support needs.
4. Experience with Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) and knowledge of behaviour support strategies.
5. Excellent communication, ICT, assessment and recording skills.
6. Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
7. Enthusiastic, highly motivated, and flexible approach to the service.
Desirable: Experience of working with young people with ASN and ASL qualification.
This post will be temporary for a period of 7 months, subject to business needs and funding.
