Your Role
and What You'll Be Doing
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join our Tier 1 Legal 500 ranked Private Client Advisory team in Chichester, part of our high-performing National Private Client Advisory team.
In this role, you will be working with the existing team, headed up by Naomi Neville, to advise high net worth individuals and families on: the legal and tax aspects of estate and succession planning; trusts (created in lifetime and by will); tax planning; estate administration and post-death planning.
About You
1. A solid background of advising on, implementing and running complex wills, probate, lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, powers of attorneys and estate administration;
2. Experience in advising on lifetime IHT planning and on the taxation of trusts and their general administration;
3. Able to demonstrate strong financial disciplines and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams and external professionals;
4. Empathy and compassion to help guide our clients through challenging personal circumstances;
5. The ability to supervise and develop junior team members;
6. An aptitude for business development and a passion for growing strong client and referrer relationships;
7. A good understanding of the West Sussex and/ or Hampshire private client markets would be advantageous, but not essential
We believe this role would best suit a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 4 years’ plus PQE.
