Main duties of the job The post holder, under the direction and supervision of the senior staff, delivers care within the environment, assisting in the development of all aspects of care for older people with mental health problems. Is open to development of their knowledge in needs of mental health patients. Basic written communication skills to enable completion of records, etc. Demonstrates a good understanding of mental health. NVQ level II or a willingness to undertake this or a certificate in Mental Health. Desirable Basic IT knowledge Knowledge Essential Aware of Health & Safety principles of self and others.
