We are actively seeking an enthusiastic Payroll Specialist (6 month FTC - HYBRID) for a Business Services company located in W. Byfleet.

Our client is a well-established, medium-sized organisation within the Business Services sector. Offices based in W. Byfleet with very easy access via train, and free parking provided.
HYBRID: just 2 days in the office per week, and 3 from home.
Description
Payroll Specialist (6 month FTC - HYBRID)
* Working as part of a Payroll team of 5
* Fully in-house payroll of circa 3,000 employees
* Oversee the entire payroll process ensuring accurate and timely payment.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies.
* Manage the relationship with HMRC and handle any queries.
* Prepare reports for senior management on payroll metrics.
* Participate in payroll system improvements and enhancements.
* Resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues.
* Coordinate with the HR department on payroll-related matters.
Profile
A successful Payroll Specialist (6 month FTC - HYBRID) should have:
* Previous experience in a busy Payroll department (ideally in-house, but bureau is also fine)
* Strong knowledge of payroll processes, regulations and best practices.
* Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience with Templa or Select Pay is advantageous but not essential.
Job Offer
Payroll Specialist (6 month FTC - HYBRID) offers:
* A base salary between £35,000-£40,000 per annum.
* HYBRID: just 2 days per week in the office, and 3 from home.
* Hours: 8am - 4pm (flexibility also offered)
