A new job opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Technician (Electrical biased) to join our team. You will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance works to our clients properties in the Glasgow and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
* To work independently to undertake the Planned and reactive maintenance tasks on various M&E installations on our clients premises, to ensure compliance with the specification, PPM, Schedules and Procedures, complete paperwork records and provide quotations for outstanding actions.
* To respond to call-out requests to ensure clients systems are not prejudiced and to maintain the continuity of operation as far as practical circumstances will allow. To report, quote and act upon failures and faults. To provide emergency callouts in respect of all clients within the Facilities service division in line with the Rota basis. To be efficient, self-motivating, polite and smart appearance and diligent in the discharge of the duties required, including the wearing of the correct company uniform and upkeep or records.
* To undertake all tasks in correspondence with Parker technical Services, Quality Assurance Systems and to be fully compliant with the Health and safety protocol as detailed in the manual.
* To achieve a prompt and effective response to emergency situations being capable to diagnose faults and initiating action to prevent deterioration in environmental conditions within our customers premises.
* To conduct the operation of the contract in a pro-active manner to minimize difficulties with the building environmental systems.
* To ensure that all the communication channels are utilized to keep both the client, and the company informed of relevant information.
* To liaise with eh specialist sub-contractors and the engineers with other disciplines to ensure the efficient operation of the plant / area without disruption to the client
* Any other duties as required by the position of this level within the organization for which the individual is suitable/ capable of.
Skills and Experience
* Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineer with suitable qualifications and experience in Electrical, Heating and Cooling disciplines who can carry out a variety of Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance tasks.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Good technical knowledge as well as the ability to multitask.
* Be able to work safely as well as cope well under pressure.
* Security vetting for various customers is essential - BPSS
