As one of the national DfE Maths Centres for Excellence, GBMet is receiving additional funding which is being used to carry out research and student interventions, create smaller class sizes, and provide high quality CPD opportunities for all maths staff. You will require an academic qualification at Level 5 / Level 6, or professional qualification equivalent in a relevant subject area and a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one). You also require experience of teaching Maths GCSE and / or Functional Skills and knowledge of curriculum planning and development to meet the learning needs of all students within a possibly diverse cohort. Good written and verbal communication skills and good IT skills are also essential. Interviews will be held via Google Meet.
