It is such an exciting time to join us on our journey as we continue to grow and expand About the role We are in search of a Head of IT Operations to be responsible for driving the efficient running of our growing operational teams. This is an exciting new role within Aspire that will have a fundamental part to play in ensuring Aspire’s value driven culture is replicated in terms of both colleague and customer experience in our regional office during a period of rapid growth. Reporting to our Operations Director, you will be experienced in developing team leads/managers and positive change within your division and influencing wider departments in line with Aspire’s organisational goals. You will lead operational efficiency and effectiveness of the team(s) in your regional office whilst giving our clients a world-class customer experience. The successful candidate will also confidently navigate through periods of change with a positive and solution-based mindset. You will inspire the respect and trust of others (both internal and external stakeholders) through integrity, action and commitment and have a positive impact on the working environment. What you will be doing Ensure operations are aligned to Aspire’s big-picture goals and strategic pillar activities, making sure every and ensuring everyone is on the same journey to ensure consistency of practice. Lead a team of high-performers, driving them to excellence via our core values to exceed KPIs enabling us to deliver technology like no other. Developing and maintaining strategic business relationships with customers. Integrating yourself within the customer’s organisation to fully understand their primary business objectives with a view to being able to advise on long-term IT strategy. Evaluate the overall performance of your teams and identify areas for improvement. Harness data to identify trends that lead to continuous improvement activities such as automation and the use of AI to drive revenues. Ensuring a commercial viewpoint when working with various Aspire departments (e.g. Pre-sales/Product) to add value and scale the products and services Aspire delivers. Conducting regular service reviews with clients. Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders/partners and being an Aspire brand ambassador. Deliver excellent customer service. You will suit the role if you have Experience working at a Senior Leadership level within a managed service provider (MSP) / customer focussed environment. Exceptional customer service skills and demonstrable experience in managing complex service situations. A customer focussed and commercial mindset. Demonstratable leadership skills with the ability to inspire, engage and develop a high-performing teams. A track record of successfully driving operational improvements and excellence initiatives. Outstanding communication skills with the ability to establish credibility and articulate a clear vision to positively influence stakeholders of all levels. Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to build strong relationships with a wide range of individuals and groups. Able to work in a fast paced and agile commercial enterprise. Collaborative style of working and facilitating positive change in an ambitious, growing business.
