The Role
Our role profile tells the full story, but as an Administration Support Apprentice, you will work as a key team member at our busy office in Workington. You will support the existing administration teams with the efficient application of all required services including answering telephones, greeting customers, maintaining electronic records, supporting Advisers in their preparation for delivering customer appointments and supporting group work delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with motivation to work in a busy office environment to gain a wide range of administrative skills along with a formal business administration qualification. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting a longer-term career with internal progression opportunities.
This post is fixed term for 18 months initially, with potential for permanent employment following the successful completion of the apprenticeship. The hours of work for this position are 37 hours per week, however requests for part time hours will also be considered.
About You
You will have:
• Minimum GCSE grade 4 or above in Maths or English (expected or achieved)
• Knowledge and/or an interest in Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good communication skills
• An understanding of good customer service and telephony skills
• A willingness to learn
