Job Summary
To provide high-quality care and support to children and young people residing in the care home, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development in a nurturing and supportive environment. Ensuring high quality provision of a safe haven for children in need offering a nurturing environment for children who require a residential facility. Provision of a sense of stability and support, allowing them to thrive and reach their full potential is paramount in our organisation and upholding our values.
Personal Care
* Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
* Administer medications and maintain accurate records of medication schedules.
Support and Supervision
* Offer emotional support and companionship.
* Supervise residents to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
Daily Living Skills
* Teach and support residents in developing skills such as cooking, cleaning, and managing personal finances as appropriate.
* Encourage and assist with participation in leisure activities and community involvement.
Health and Wellbeing
* Monitor and report any changes in residents' health.
* Coordinate with healthcare professionals for routine check-ups and emergency care.
Qualifications and Experience
* Level 2 in health and social care or equivalent.
* First aid certification and training in safe handling technique.

* Commitment to promoting the welfare of children and young people.
* Integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
