To provide confidential administrative support for the Occupational Health (OH) department, as part of the wider HSQE Directorate. Works with HR and managers to arrange medical appointments in line with Medical Standards. Maintains data in line with Data Protection legislation within the OH eOPAS system, providing reports as required.
* Key user of the OH eOPAS system providing support to team members, including logging of system faults to the eOPAS system provider.
* Schedules periodic medicals with managers and planners to ensure that staff fitness to work remains in date in line with Company Medical Standards. Works with the Senior Nurse to triage management referrals to Doctor/Senior Nurse/Nurse. Sets up pre-employment medicals.
* Carries out reception and administration duties, including GP referrals, GP liason and specialist referral requirements. Manages the diaries of clinicians to ensure ensure time allocated for clinics, trainings, meetings etc. Reports any issues arising to OH and Operational Standards Manager and Senior Nurse.
* Produces OH statistics as required for the team and OH and Operational Standards Manager. Supports the clinical team with the recording of OH documentation.
* Ensures medical equipment is calibrated and maintained as required by suppliers and maintains appropriate records. Orders and maintains stock levels of medical consumables & office supplies.
* Supports the clinical staff in the planning and administration of health campaigns.
* Records and reports monthly to the OH and Operational Standards Manager on clinical staff activity, attendance, holiday and unplanned absence.
* Administration of LVPO/Purchasing requests, updating and maintaining records, in coordination with the OH and Operational Standards Manager.
* Maintains the OH Intranet site up to date and promotes key material via Yammer to ensure timely communications on OH activities / campaigns in the interest of staff.
* Takes minutes of team meetings.

Hours of work are ideally, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (but we can be flexible on days) between the hours of 09:00 and 17:30.
Three-month contract (22.5 Hours per week)
Pay Rate - £12.50
