WEEK 1 Monday - 9.30 to 2.30 pm (5 hours) Thursday - 9.30 to 2.30 pm (5 hours) Saturday - 8 am to 6 pm (10
hours ** This can be split in half) WEEK 2 Saturday - 2 pm to 6 pm (4 hours) Sunday Mornings from - 8 am to 2
pm (6 hours)
Hourly pay rate:
Up to £12.50
I am a 41-year-old young lady looking for carers to assist me with outings and activities within the home. Having
Cerebral Palsy, I require assistance with all my care needs. The role will cover aiding me with going out to my
groups, cinema and just out and about. Within the home I like being active with arts and crafts and going on my
computer.
Some personal care will be required. This includes bathing in the evening and possibly helping me get up in the
mornings. Hoisting will be required and training will be provided for the role as required. Employer is available to
support and assist as required.
Duties include:
Medication prompting/administering
Personal grooming
Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Clinical tasks
Other relevant duties as required
Transportation
Companionship
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance
Candidate qualities:

Personal Care:
Washing and bathing – towelling dry/ drying hair
Help getting into and out of bath using hoist, training will be given
Applying cream if needed
General hair/skin care
Dressing and undressing/ helping with buttons and fastenings
Support to go to the toilet
Assistance with PEG feeding
Any other reasonable task
Social:
Support to get out and about; This may be to meet friends, go for a walk etc
Support to access art and craft activities
Additional requirements
Non-smoker due to medical reasons
