Primary Objectives • Assist the print operatives to collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department; • Work with the print operatives to ensure that the work is sized correctly, and the appropriate correction curve is applied; • Checking quality control to job requirements; • Maintain and assisting with processing work according to the production schedule; • Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered; • Learning how to problem solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department; • Learn how to maintain the machinery to manufacturers recommendations; • Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy • Learning how to select the correct media profile then rip the job to be printed. Knowledge, Skills and Experience • Understanding Windows Operating systems • Demonstrable attention to detail; • Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious; • Flexible and effective team member. • English and Maths GCSE grade 4 or above (C or above) or equivalent Personal attributes / Behaviours • Team player • To be known for ‘making things happen’ through great service • A pro-active and ‘can do’ attitude Shift pattern: Monday – Friday, 8 hour flexi plus optional overtime Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
