This charity helps young people develop work skills, offering an average of 160 placement sessions monthly in their chocolate studio and horticulture centre. Over half the employees are on the autism spectrum. They partner with local schools to provide an accessible educational venue, encouraging personal, social, and emotional development through activities. You will be working as part of the chocolatier team, which is a commercial operation of the charity providing chocolates to local businesses. Its a busy operation to say the least As a Chocolatier/Piping Specialist, you'll join their diverse team, including individuals with autism. An awareness / understanding of Autism is useful. Typical tasks include: Precisely pipe chocolate into moulds. Fill chocolates with various fillings. Maintain food hygiene standards. Collaborate to meet production goals. Pack and ensure quality. Requirements: Passion for chocolate making. Strong work ethic. Team player. Catering or cake decoration experience preferred (even as a hobby) Valid driver's license.
