Our technicians work based from home throughout the UK and are supplied with a vehicle, uniforms, tools and training required to fulfil the role. Role requirement We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Furniture Technician to join our team in the Southwest of England and Wales. In this exciting role, you will play a crucial part in driving operational excellence and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work closely with a team of talented Furniture Technicians, providing guidance, support, and coaching to help them achieve their full potential. Key Duties Coach and guide technicians on best practices in repair methods, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency. Proactively identify and address performance trends to improve team efficiency and achieve business targets. Accompany technicians on field visits to observe and promote best practices, focusing on customer satisfaction and first-time fixes. Play a key role in the daily management of the triage process, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow. Assist Area Manager with team briefings, data collection, and other operational tasks as needed. Maintain your own technical skills by actively participating in field repairs alongside the team. Actively seek opportunities to improve processes, enhance customer service, and drive continuous improvement within the team. Champion a strong health and safety culture within the team and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Experience & Qualifications Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Furniture Technician. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills with a proven ability to motivate and guide others. Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and building strong customer relationships. In-depth knowledge of furniture repair techniques and industry best practices. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and achieve challenging goals. Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions to operational challenges. Collaborative and supportive team player with a strong work ethic.
