You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers The hospital provides a peaceful, welcoming and homely feel, and offers the perfect environment for adults and young people to receive specialist treatment for a range of mental health challenges, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and eating disorders To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an Occupational Therapist and registered with the HCPC As the Senior/Lead Occupational Therapist your key responsibilities include: Provide consultation and assistance to the lead consultant regarding the therapeutic programme on the unit Engage the patients on the unit in helpful, therapeutic and meaningful activity Manage and co-ordinate individual treatment plans for occupational therapy and activities Provide 1:1 OT assessment and treatment Develop close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues ensuring clinical practice is in line with Priory policies and procedures and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards specifically regarding risk assessment The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: Provide excellent oral and written communication Possess exceptional organisational skills Experience of working with these client groups both individually and in groups with a range of complex presentations in an inpatient setting Demonstrates evidence highly effective clinical reasoning skills Highly specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models The successful Senior/Lead Occupational Therapist will receive an excellent salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week.
