You already know what a CASS and FS Audit Manager do, so we want to tell you what it's like to work at Grant Thornton, and what can we offer you that others don't.
We are offering the chance to do a split role between external statutory audit and CASS if desired.

Let's talk about the role
We are looking for an experienced audit manager with experience of Client Asset (CASS) audits, to support a growing client base in a market that is developing quickly. Here are some things you can expect from this financial services role.

A look into the role
As an Audit Manager within our Client Asset Audit (CASS) service line, you will:
1. Be responsible for a large portfolio of audit clients
2. Solve complex technical matters for our clients, and project manage client work
3. Oversee and develop your team to the highest standard
4. Build and maintain strong working relationships with your team and our clients
5. Take opportunities for wider department responsibilities through training and pitching new projects
6. Constantly strive to push yourself, and the business, further, knowing you're supported through every stage
Knowing you're right for us
Joining us as an Audit Manager, the minimum criteria you'll need are a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) with post qualification experience, and to be confident in CASS 6/7/8 rules. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'll help you develop along the way.
1. Experience of managing audits of large companies in addition to dealing with complex technical matters
2. Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102
3. Project management experience
4. Experience of IFRS and auditing listed companies would be beneficial
5. Extensive experience of using audit software and Microsoft packages
