Kitchen supervisor

People's Coffee are recruiting for a Kitchen Supervisor.

People's Coffee based on the beautiful Mountbatten Pier, 101 Lawrence Road, Plymouth, have an exciting opportunity to join their friendly team as a Kitchen Supervisor.


Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assisting the Kitchen Manager on a day to day basis
2. Managing the kitchen porters
3. Making sure the kitchen is a safe and hygienic place to work
4. Helping to plan menus, apportion ingredients and use food surpluses
5. Assisting with the preparation and serving of all meals and beverages to customers
6. Ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy
7. Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
8. Ensuring team is managed effectively
9. Ensuring that all food items and products are stored, prepared and served based on the Cafes recipe, preparation and portion standards
10. Assisting in ordering kitchen materials and ingredients based on the menu and market demand
11. Maintaining clean working environments and making sure that employees follow the cafes preventive maintenance measures
