SEN Teacher - Barnstaple (Permanent)

A highly respected group of schools, specialising in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) and Special Educational Needs (SEN), is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN teacher to join their Barnstaple team. This is a permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to meet individual education plans (IEPs)
* Support students with a range of SEMH and SEN needs
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and support staff
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes emotional and academic growth
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students with SEMH/SEN
* Strong behaviour management skills
* A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
