Job summary This role is part of the Finance team of NHS Devon Integrated Care Board supporting a wide range of services within the Community and Mental Health portfolio. We provide a high level of professionalism, assisting the organisation in commissioning health services and ensuring objectives are delivered with the interest of patients at the centre. Main duties of the job In this role you will work closely with the wider finance team on invoicing and key aspects of the financial month-end process. Liaising regularly with providers, addressing their queries and maintaining effective communication channels. You will support the Management Accountant in maintaining and monitoring income and expenditure for specific commissioned services through the financial system. This includes supporting the creation of ad-hoc financial reports for internal management decision-making and external reporting. Your contributions will be vital for providing accurate and timely financial information. Additionally, you will assist with the production of monthly financial management information within the Community and Mental Health Services team and providing support for our month end process including monitoring spend and preparing/uploading journals. The nature of this area means handling all ad-hoc work and queries as required. We have a hybrid working arrangement, so the successful candidate will work between home and our Exeter office, where staff are expected to attend at least one day a week.
