The Job
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead purchasing activities for raw and indirect materials and plant maintenance stores.
* Implement MRO strategies to reduce vendor numbers and enhance supplier integration.
* Collaborate with production operations to manage warehouse or production changes affecting supply chain processes.
* Ensure supplier compliance with corporate procedures through regular audits.
* Provide quarterly material forecasts and update Finance on price changes affecting Purchase Price Variance (PPV).
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and lead process improvement initiatives.
* Manage compliance with relevant regulations and support Finance with audit requests.
The Profile
* Relevant professional qualifications such as MCIPS or equivalent are desirable.
* Extensive experience in supply chain management within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage multi-disciplined teams.
* Proficient in supplier and customer relationship management.
* Skilled in business analysis, process improvement, and organizational transformation.
* Strong working knowledge of ERP (preferably SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
