Job summary
As the Head of Product Strategy, you will provide a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for all Bank & Acquirers product solutions we are providing. The strategy will focus on gaining a comprehensive understanding of industry challenges on a global scale and deeply analyzing buyer personas. It will involve clearly articulating the unique capabilities of the organization or product, highlighting how these strengths can deliver significant value to the market by solving market challenges. Moreover, the strategy will also be about crafting detailed positioning documents that clearly communicate these value propositions. By setting a solid strategic foundation, this pillar will drive future actions within the Go-To-Market (GTM) framework.
You will work closely with Sales transformation, Corporate Competitive Intelligence, Go-To-Market Launch, Go-To-Market Client Solutions, and Product Management.
1. Strategic Value Proposition Development: Identify and articulate Ingenico’s unique strengths, capabilities, and differentiators to deliver maximum value to the B&A market.
2. Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing research to understand client needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes to ensure the organization’s value proposition remains relevant specific to B&A.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, sales transformation, and client solutions teams to ensure seamless alignment between the organization’s offerings and market (B&A) demands.
4. Value Communication: Develop clear messaging and materials that effectively communicate the organization’s value to stakeholders. Understand patterns tied to why recent evaluators of the product did or did not buy a product.
5. Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate and refine the organization’s approach to delivering value, ensuring it evolves in response to market shifts and internal growth.
6. Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of value delivery and identify opportunities for optimization.
7. Product Lifecycle Management: Leverage a deep understanding of how products are designed, developed, delivered, and supported to ensure the organization’s offerings align with client expectations and market needs.
8. Strategic Value Alignment: Take a broad, long-term view of the organization’s operations, ensuring that all functions work together cohesively to create value for both clients and the market.
9. Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate complex ideas, strategies, and technical information to internal teams and external stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.
Profile
1. 10 years of experience in go-to-market fundamentals, preferably within new product development.
2. Strong interest in technology and innovation, ideally having worked in the innovation & technology ecosystem within an international environment.
3. Understanding of Pragmatic Marketing principles, specifically Market and Focus.
4. Market knowledge of personas, problems, and market segments.
5. Analytical, with the ability to gather data, synthesize the data, and tell a story.
