We are seeking to appoint a Science specialist as Head of Science to oversee a hard-working team of passionate Science learning practitioners and to transform the life chances of the young people in our care. The right candidate will take the correct steps to successfully steer the department in the right direction on its improvement journey.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and inspiring subject specialist. An excellent knowledge and thorough understanding of the subject is essential. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students.
Outwood Academy Ormesby is an improving school at the heart of the community. The department consists of six teachers and a specialist Science technician. The department benefits from four science labs and two specialist classrooms, and a science 121 tutor.
