An excitingopportunity has arisen for an experienced social and digital mediaprofessional to join the leading international horse charity WorldHorse Welfare.
The Social and Digital MediaOfficer plans, creates and publishes the charity’s social media anddigital communications, ensuring accurate content and the rightbrand look, feel and messaging. Working to the Head ofCommunications and with the wider team, you will organise andproactively seek out stories and other content from across thecharity to engage audiences through our digital media channels,including social platforms, the website and email. A key part ofthis role is testing and refining approaches to increase reach,engagement, website traffic and donations and to rigorously monitorand evaluate results to inform furtheractivity.
We are looking for someone who hasexperience in the management of social media channels, a passionfor social and digital media with a creative approach to engagingonline audiences. You will possess first-rate written and oralcommunications skills, digital content creation including imagesand video, excellent attention to detail and the ability to writequality copy in a variety of styles quickly. You must be proactive,confident and capable of working with people at all levels in avariety of spheres. You must have a flexible approach to your workand be willing to work outside of normal office hours wherenecessary. Equine knowledge and experience is highlydesirable.
The role is based in Norfolk and is ahybrid split of 2 days in our head office in Snetterton and 3 daysat home. You may be required to attend events around the UK andvisit the charity’s four rescue and rehoming centres to gathercontent.
