Our client is an engineering solution provider operating at the highest level of automotive and motorsport. They specialise in prototype and one-off builds.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Build Manager, the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:
1. Continuous development and implementation of build processes, assembly routing, and best working practices.
2. Driving process adherence in collaboration with quality and engineering departments.
3. Tracking, data gathering, and reporting build progress.
4. Highlighting potential critical paths within supporting functions such as Supplier Quality and part delivery cadence.
5. MRP, WO system management, and exercising a high standard of diligent record keeping.
6. Build issue NCR creation, tracking, and closure.
7. Expedition of component requirements in line with production plans.
8. Implementation of and adherence to H&S throughout all build departments and areas.

Qualifications:
All applicants are required to have:
1. Previous experience as a manufacturing engineer within Automotive, Motorsport, or niche engineering projects.
2. Knowledge of MRP systems.
3. Proven mechanical assembly experience gained from actively working as part of low volume engineering and prototyping projects.
4. Proven and skilled use of interpreting technical drawings and build procedures.
5. Understanding and experience within project planning.
6. Understanding of quality functions and standards required for high performance, safety critical, and visually outstanding deliverables.
7. Excellent communication skills, spoken and written, with the ability to work across multiple disciplines of a business.
8. Confident use of MS-Office applications.
9. Experience with championing Health and Safety protocols in the workplace.
