Our client is a supplier of technology and resources to the education sector, supporting schools, across Lancashire. They are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide IT support to schools in Chorley, Blackburn and surrounding areas. This role covers a broad range of technologies including all on-premise, cloud wireless networking solutions and all technologies required to deliver teaching and learning. As IT Engineer you will manage the IT systems for several schools, working onsite for either a full or half a day in each school. This role attracts a company vehicle as part of the package. You will need to have a strong customer focus, with a proactive approach to service delivery. The roles main focus is to ensure that all support incidents are managed and progressed to resolution. This is to be done whilst ensuring customers are regularly updated of progress and that incidents are resolved in line with their service level agreement deadlines. Skills and Experience: Microsoft Products including Windows and Office Applications. Knowledge of Cloud Platforms in particular Microsoft M365. Apple Products including iPads, MacBooks, Macs. Desktop & Mobile Device Support. Peripheral Device Support interactive whiteboards, A/V etc. Experience of setting up and supporting Print management solutions. Image build and deployment tools. Backup procedures and routines cloud and on premise. Anti-Virus solutions. Excellent customer communication skills and able to communicate technical tasks to non-technical people. ADZN1_UKTJ
