Come be a part of our success story Your Role: To develop, install, and commission high-level PLC, servo, and HMI software, including robotics and all necessary interfaces tailored to the high-speed packaging machinery industry. Primarily working with Rockwell control systems, experience with other systems will also be considered an advantage. This role involves both UK-based and worldwide customer site work. Projects must be delivered on time and within budget, requiring collaboration as part of a team or independently. Key Responsibilities/Activities: Develop, install, and commission PLC and servo motion code to meet machine specifications. Create and implement robot control and HMI code according to machine requirements. Collaborate with engineering departments to ensure equipment passes FAT and SAT processes. Formulate cost-effective and practical solutions in response to client needs. Identify and report design problems and deficiencies. Complete projects on time and within budget constraints. Ensure technical coordination with internal and external teams. Maintain thorough documentation and records throughout projects. Provide innovative solutions leveraging relevant technologies. Travel worldwide to resolve problems and test machines/systems as needed. Promote and adhere to safety standards in compliance with legislation. Support other departments to achieve business objectives. Competence/Skills: Highly motivated and customer-focused. Strong oral and written communication skills. Detailed understanding of labor and material costs. Meticulous attention to detail and highly computer literate. Flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented. Full UK driving license. Willingness to travel worldwide and spend extended periods at customer sites. Background/Experience: 5 years in an engineering-related role and manufacturing/assembly environment. Familiarity with continuous improvement techniques. Working knowledge of Rockwell and Siemens control systems, C#, Visual Basic, PLC/HMI programming, servo drives, and controls. Experience in robotic system programming, machine coding, and testing. Educated to BSc level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, or proven capability. Knowledge of CDM regulations and CE technical files, including UK/EU standards.
