Lead with Passion: Assistant Manager - Residential Childcare - Leominster

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where young people can thrive.
What you'll do:
1. Lead with Purpose: Support the Registered Manager in ensuring high-quality care and safeguarding for children in 2 bedded dual-registered homes.
2. Drive Excellence: Assist in the daily management of two dual-registered homes, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and security.
3. Contribute to Care Planning: Attend and prepare for children's conferences, reviews, planning meetings, and core group sessions. Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of children's records. Complete delegated tasks from the Care Planning process to a high standard.
4. Be a Team Player: Work collaboratively with the management team to prepare and implement a rota system that ensures the safety, security, and care of the children.
We're looking for someone who:

4. Holds a Level 3 NVQ in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
5. Has a qualification such as CQSW/DipSW/NVQ 4 in Care or Management, Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People), or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
6. Has at least one year of management experience and two years in a children's residential setting or similar residential services.
7. Extensive experience of supporting children and young people with EBD.
8. Possesses a full UK driving licence.
9. Is willing to undergo an enhanced DBS certificate upon appointment.
What We Offer:
1. Competitive Salary: £34,000 - £36,000
2. Working Hours: 9am - 5pm assisting with on-call duties with the registered manager.
