Job Title : Occupational Health Technician / Administrator. Permanent or FTC for 12 months. Salary : Circa £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience Location : Bolton Dynamic (hybrid) working : Due to the nature of this role, 4 days per week will be needed onsite. Role could be performed either full time or 4 days per week. Security Clearance : Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. The opportunity: This role would suit someone who likes the challenge of multi-tasking, enjoys developing /working with new practices and systems and is a strong team player This role supports the OH manager and the multi-disciplinary team delivering a comprehensive, professional Occupational health & wellbeing service and supporting the business with their health risk management for employees. In delivering in person health surveillance and fitness for task assessments the role supports the health & safety responsibilities at MBDA. As part of the OH wellbeing offering the role also involves carrying out employee wellbeing with lifestyle assessments and Executive medicals within the clinical rooms on site in Bolton. The role involves administrative aspects to support the OH&W Team deliver a first class service, including accurate recording of medical results, compiling statistical data and supporting the delivery of health promotion and awareness campaigns. The role will involve First Aid co-ordination of waiting lists and liaising with safety and the Learning Team to manage First aid volunteers. The role will be delivered from the OH department in our Bolton Manufacturing site, there is some flexibility around start and finish times but these will be within our core hours of 7.30-9.30 and 3.30-5.30 There will be an expectation of occasional travel to other company UK sites involving an overnight stay and occasional evening working to support night worker assessment.
