Training framework includes
* NHS Scotland Healthcare Support Worker induction standards
* GPhC approved pharmacy support worker course (eLearning)
* Local PSW competency training and assessment
* Read, understand and follow standard operating procedures
The training framework is expected to take 15 months to complete although this will vary depending on individual candidate progress rates.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment. Hours of work are 37 hours per week (over 7 days). Participation in extended hours, public holidays and weekend working rotas is required.
