**About the Role:**
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a class of 6-8 students, providing tailored support to help them reach their full potential. You'll assist in implementing individualised learning plans, offering one-on-one guidance and group support, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
**What You’ll Be Doing:**
- **Student Engagement:** Support students with complex autism and high sensory needs, encouraging their social, emotional, and academic growth.
- **Personal Care:** Assist with personal, physical, and medical needs, promoting independence and well-being.
- **Adaptable Learning:** Work alongside the SEN Teacher to assess student progress, adapting learning plans and strategies to meet each student's unique needs.
- **Collaboration:** Build strong relationships with families and school staff to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
**What We’re Looking For:**
- **Experience:** Previous experience working with students with SEN, especially those with complex autism and sensory needs.
- **Skills:** Strong understanding of effective teaching strategies for SEN students, with a calm and patient approach to behavior management.
- **Passion:** A genuine interest in making a difference in the lives of children with SEN and a commitment to creating a nurturing learning environment.
- **Flexibility:** Ability to adapt to changing situations and provide quick support as needed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
