We are looking to recruit a HR Officer working for a well-established global company based out of the Stourbridge site
As the HR officer, you will be involved in a range of activities. These cover areas such as:
* Recruitment and retention
* Equality, diversity and inclusion
* Conditions of employment
* Data computation for payroll and follow up on payslips accuracy
* Disciplinary and grievance cases
* Employee welfare, support and engagement
* Learning and development
* Policies, procedures and working practices
* Negotiation with external work-related agencies.
Other main duties will be:
1. Have a clear understanding of the business objectives and be able to devise and implement policies that support them
2. Write and develop job descriptions, person specifications and job adverts
3. Manage the application process - check application forms, shortlist, interview, select successful candidate/s and inform unsuccessful ones
4. Appoint, develop and retain the right staff
5. Ensure that prospective staff have the right to work
6. Plan and deliver training, including new staff inductions
7. Deal with staff welfare and administration-centred activities
8. Advise on pay and other benefits
9. Undertake salary reviews and manage redundancy programmes if any
