Job Description Job Title: Identity Security Analyst Location: Southampton or London (Hybrid) Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 bonus bens Hybrid Working: 2 days per week in the office We are seeking an experienced Identity Security Analyst to join a leading financial services company. This is a hybrid role with three days onsite in the office per week. You can work from either Southampton or London As the technical Identity Security Lead, you will define and maintain technical standards for Identity Security across authentication, authorization, access management, and adaptive trust concepts. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of Identity Security controls and support the development of Identity Security tooling and controls. Speaking to the hiring manager is is happy for someone to step up into the role, perhaps from an EUC / technical support role, provided the IT security skills are there, together with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and a go getting attitude to do well. Candidates from this background need to have worked for highly credible organisations. Key Responsibilities: Act as the technical lead for Identity Security, supporting Security Architects. Define and maintain technical standards for Identity Security, including metrics for risk measurement and reporting. Provide input and approve operational processes to meet Identity Security standards. Drive Identity Security roadmaps with Information Security and Technology teams. Assist Security Architects on Identity Security projects. Serve as an escalation point and advisor on Identity Security matters. Assess and manage identity-related risks. Ensure identity and access processes meet standards. Requirements: Exceptional understanding of identity security risks and mitigation strategies. Experience with Identity Provider tooling (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID/Active Directory). Knowledge of Identity Governance, Authorization, Authentication, PAM, PIM, and CIEM. Experience with implementing Zero Trust concepts, including Conditional Access or Adaptive Trust type controls is desirable Understanding of machine identities and managing these as part of a cloud-first DevOps model is desirable Experience of cloud-native concepts - Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and SaaS Posture Management (SSPM) is desirable Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders. CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Security Certifications or similar is desirable This role involves working with a small team of Security Architects and collaborating with various technology teams to enhance tools and processes. The Identity Security Analyst will lead Identity Security efforts, supporting architects and stakeholders across the business to ensure effective delivery of Identity Security controls. This position is ideal for experienced analysts seeking to transition into Security Architecture.
