Position: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher.
Location: Totnes, Devon
Salary: £31,650 - £43,606 Depending on experience.
Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
The Role of an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS):
As a full-time Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of the youngest learners. You will plan, deliver, and assess exciting and engaging lessons that support the development of their key personal development and social skills. Working closely with a dynamic team of teaching assistants, you’ll help create a stimulating and child-centred learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher:
* Deliver high-quality, engaging, and differentiated teaching to EYFS students.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.
* Plan and assess the progress of students, using a range of assessment tools and strategies.
* Work closely with parents and carers to ensure the well-being and progress of each child.
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities.
* Foster a love of learning and curiosity through creative and inspiring lessons.
What We’re Looking For:
* A qualified teacher with a recognised EYFS qualification (QTS or equivalent).
* Passion and enthusiasm for working with young children.
* Experience in planning and delivering the EYFS curriculum.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* A positive, patient, and creative approach to teaching.
