This is your chance to lead a dynamic team, manage operations in a fast-paced retail environment, and play a key role in maintaining exceptional cleanliness standards that directly enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and supervise a team of cleaning and waste operatives, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards.
2. Manage daily cleaning operations across a busy shopping centre.
3. Uphold and enforce Health & Safety compliance (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974).
4. Create and manage staff rotas, ensuring optimal coverage.
5. Conduct training, performance reviews, and recruit new team members as needed.
6. Monitor and report on service standards using Cleanlink Site Manager and Cleaning Portal.
7. Liaise directly with client representatives, building strong, responsive relationships.
8. Maintain equipment and stock levels efficiently and safely.
9. Complete regular audits and inspections, ensuring top-quality service delivery.
10. Provide hands-on support with ad hoc cleaning tasks when needed.
11. Collaborate closely with the Area Manager on all operational aspects.
What We're Looking For:
1. Demonstrable experience in a cleaning supervisory or management role.
2. Strong knowledge of cleaning industry standards and Health & Safety legislation.
3. Excellent team leadership, organisational and communication skills.
4. Proficient in using digital management systems (Cleanlink knowledge is a bonus).
5. A proactive problem-solver who leads by example.
6. Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
7. Forklift Licence is an advantage, but not essential.
