If you have experience in creating or scaling up a sales department within commercial solar sales, then we want to hear from you. What does this role involve? Working closely with the Chief of Home Services you will create and implement the department's strategy and build a structure which will fulfil the company's objectives to expand commercial solar and renewable offerings. You will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions that support our customers in becoming more sustainable and optimising their energy needs over time. Day to day, you will; lead the commercial solar sales strategy to enhance market growth and drive expansion in our renewable energy business; lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental goals; manage multiple sales channels effectively using sales software, and set and own performance metrics; work in collaboration with internal stakeholder such as Marketing to further drive sales; negotiate contracts and support clients with funding options; identify tender and framework opportunities and take the lead in representing Utilita to secure contracts; provide the business with updates on market changes and new technology advancements in Solar, EV and Battery storage, so we can maintain a competitive advantage. Who are we looking for? Your previous experience in creating or scaling a commercial solar sale department, will enable you to hit the ground running in implementing the strategy. Your strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills and experience leading bids and tenders will enable you to grow our commercial customer base. As a subject matter expert across solar, EV, and battery technologies you will have a good understanding of the latest advancements in the industry. As the head of the department, you will have demonstrative experience leading, mentoring, and motivating a sales team, setting and owning performance metrics to drive the team's success.
