We engage successfully with communities, technical consultants, and partner organisations to investigate flooding organisation and communication skills you can apply to collecting evidence and sharing information passion to collaborate and find solutions to make a positive difference for the people of Suffolk and our environment Your role and responsibilities As an Assistant Flood Investigation Officer you will playing a key role in identifying ways to reduce flood risk for the people of Suffolk by: supporting the team to collect evidence and investigate causes of floods organising regular communication with landowners, communities, elected representatives and other stakeholders supporting property owners and communities to understand flood risk and take steps to become more resilient. You will need: to be educated to degree level or have equal experience in a relevant subject experience of using project management skills to plan, organise and monitor the delivery of your work excellent communication skills to engage and influence a range of stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to regularly collaborate with the Environment Agency, water companies, local planning authorities, developers, the public and elected representatives to reduce flood risk across Suffolk.
