WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING As our Quality Assurance Manager, you will implement and oversee all aspects of the quality management system (TQM) and quality assurance operations to enhance operational efficiency and product excellence within our supply chain (Suppliers & 3PL Partners). Key responsibilities include: Quality Control Management: Develop and deliver a robust control plan to ensure products meet quality standards across visual, specification, and performance, managing regional teams and QC at DCs. Supplier Quality Management: Implement Total Quality Management (TQM) across the supply base, ensuring zero defects through consistent monitoring, corrective action plans, and SOP updates. Process & Continuous Improvement: Use lean thinking to analyse processes, driving improvements in product quality, operational efficiency, and cost control, with a focus on zero defects. Factory Audits & Compliance: Oversee technical audits across supply tiers, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and address non-compliance issues through corrective actions. Handover & Product Integrity: Collaborate with Product Integrity to ensure a “clean” handover after Black Seal validation, ensuring smooth transition from development to production. Data-Driven Quality Management: Analyse quality data and trends to drive improvements, communicate KPIs to vendors, and implement agreed improvement plans. Root Cause Analysis & Customer Feedback: Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues, gather customer feedback, and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality. Leadership & Team Management: Lead and motivate regional and remote QA teams, fostering a culture of accountability and quality improvement, and setting clear roadmaps for success. Third-Party & Remote Team Management: Ensure third-party QA operations and remote teams maintain high efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to quality standards. Training & Development: Provide training to internal and supplier teams on quality standards and best practices, leading sessions to inspire quality excellence. Returns & Feedback Management: Standardise returns handling with partners, analyse returns data, and implement corrective measures to improve salvage rates and product quality. Budget & Cost Management: Manage QA budgets, focusing on cost-effective quality improvement measures, efficient resource use, and strategic investments in equipment and training. WHAT YOU'LL NEED It is essential that you already have extensive experience in quality assurance (incl. TQM) with a strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and industry-specific regulations. We are also looking for: Expertise in quality control procedures, audits, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong leadership and communication skills, adept at managing cross-functional teams for success. Proficient in using Quality Management Software (QMS) and tools for tracking and corrective actions. Skilled in change management, leading quality-driven transformations and process improvements effectively. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality practices across departments. This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSHQ, Solihull, UK. Early submission is recommended, as we'll be reviewing applications soon.
