Operating across Europe, North America, and APAC with an expanding SaaS portfolio, we are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Manager on a 15 month fixed term contract to help us ensure payroll accuracy and compliance across all our global entities.
What You'll Do:
* Manage and oversee payroll provider relationships, ensuring timely, accurate data submission.
* Collate and compile payroll data across multiple entities and currencies.
* Prepare payroll reconciliations and documentation for internal and external audits.
* Ensure the accurate application of employee benefits, pensions, and compliance with statutory requirements.
* Oversee pension activities including re-enrolment, deductions, and payment of contributions.
* Upload payroll payment files to the bank in a timely manner.
* Assist with the implementation and transition to EY as the new payroll provider.
* Maintain up-to-date payroll policies and procedures, adapting them for the new payroll provider.
* Stay informed on legislative changes affecting payroll and benefits across global markets.
* Resolve payroll-related queries and ensure seamless service for employees.
What You'll Achieve:
* Timely, accurate payroll processing across all global entities every month.
* Review and improvement of payroll provider relationships, delivering cost and efficiency gains.
* Enhancement of payroll processes to improve flexibility and reduce bureaucracy.
* Alignment of payroll and HR data across systems for seamless collaboration.
* Develop strong working relationships with the People Team and other stakeholders.
Requirements
Skills & Experience We're Looking For:
* Experience in managing multi-entity, multi-currency payrolls.
* Proficiency in payroll/HRIS systems and processes.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage pay queries or disputes.
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle tight deadlines and multi-task.
* Solid understanding of UK tax and payroll legislation.
* Prior experience with EY payroll services is a plus.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to produce clear reporting.
Desired Qualifications & Behaviors:
* CIPP Qualified (Degree Level) preferred.
* Experience or understanding of Australian, Canadian, French, and US payroll legislation is advantageous.
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and autonomous.
* Ability to build collaborative relationships across teams, particularly with HR and finance teams.
