Paying £12.21 per hour for 15 hours each week Benefits - Based in central Rochdale, our client is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their growing team on a part time basis for 12 months. Working every Thursday and Friday 4.00pm-8.00pm and Saturday 9.00am-5.00pm/12 noon-8.00pm, this role offers a mixture of both home and office working. THE JOB Key Responsibilities: Manage customer interactions via phone, email, web chat, and online platforms (Amazon, eBay, TikTok), addressing enquiries, complaints, and offering product support Process orders, payments, returns, replacements, and warranty claims accurately and efficiently Track deliveries, manage courier claims, and conduct parcel searches to resolve delivery issues Ensure timely resolution of all customer issues within SLAs, including proactive follow-ups Support European platforms using translation tools (training provided) THE PERSON Key Skills & Experience required: Proven customer service or contact centre experience with effective communication skills (written and verbal) Proficient in using online platforms, CRM systems, and familiar with e-commerce sites like Amazon, eBay, and TikTok Highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to manage time effectively and perform well under pressure Flexible and reliable, with willingness to work evenings and weekends Open to learning new tools, including translation software (training provided) THE BENEFITS 22 days holiday plus the bank holidays (pro-rata) WeCare programme Eye test voucher – Free eye test with Specsavers 50% Employee discount Dress down Fridays Company sick pay Easy access from Rochdale bus station, tram stops and train station If you are a great communicator who enjoys problem-solving and thrives in a fast-paced environment, this role could be the perfect fit.
