THE TEAM
At JSM Group, we deliver high-quality design and engineering solutions for complex utility projects. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Project Manager (Civils) to oversee the day-to-day operations at site level on assigned projects and/or Framework Contracts providing installation and maintenance services within the Comms division.
SCOPE OF ROLE
* Manage day-to-day work operations and installation scheduling across various comms clients.
* Ensure any additional works are agreed and documented.
* Conduct and document site surveys for new installations.
* Management and documentation of both internal and client stores.
* Site H&S checks on contractors and direct employees.
* Manage assigned projects ensuring contract administration in accordance with the company Integrated Management System (IMS) and Contract Terms & Conditions.
* Participation in delivery of Site Safety Briefings, Memos, and Toolbox Talks.
* Ensure RAMS and Method statements are adhered to.
* Ensure teams are carrying out “Site Specific Risk Assessments.”
* Liaison with Procurement to ensure materials are ordered/called-off in a timely manner.
* Completion of Employee Timesheets.
* Labour and Plant & Transport Return sheets.
* Monitoring and review of site training records.
* Support the contract in its compliance under CDM.
* Compliance with all company Policies & Procedures.
* Actively promote a diverse & inclusive working environment.
* Ensure the JSM Group brand is promoted positively and proactively.
* Work effectively as part of the Communications team, and attend and engage fully in Civils Team meetings.
* Support with any ad hoc tasks as required.
HOW YOU'LL SUCCEED
* Competent management with a positive attitude.
* Technically competent in civils for various communications clients.
* Must be willing to work outside of normal business hours when required.
* Self-motivated but able to work as part of a team.
* Good organisational and time-management skills.
* Good communication skills, written & verbal.

* Ability to work under pressure.
* Initiative and the ability to offer new ideas.
* Computer literate with programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
* A high level of confidentiality.
* Forward-thinking approach.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Civils Project Management.
* Must be NRSWA Qualified. CSCS and/or EUSR Card for appropriate level of responsibility/competency required.
* Demonstrable experience in a management position.
* Demonstrable experience in the Telecommunications Industry.
