Main duties of the job Contribute to the provision of Speech and Language Therapy Service to children with communication difficulties including those with learning disabilities and/or complex needs in community, clinic, pre-school settings and schools etc under the supervision of a Speech and Language Therapist SLT) Carry out routine interventions with supervision from the SLT as required, e.g. delegated intervention with new clients, observation and informal assessment through play and interaction, advice to parents/carers and early years settings Lead on training courses and coach others in supporting children with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) Support new staff through induction and offer ongoing mentoring and support About us NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community.
