Main duties of the job
As a Junior Business IntelligenceAnalyst, you will be responsible for working on large reporting projects,smaller ad-hoc queries, collaborating with both local commissioners and NHSEngland, and supporting continuous improvement within the Business Analyticsteam by enhancing reporting processes.
You will be proficient in theanalysis of complex datasets and in mining data from databases and/or datawarehouses. You will have the necessary skills to design, develop, generate,and maintain reports. You will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail,ensure the accuracy of your reporting, and exhibit a talent for uncovering newinsights and conclusions to inform and guide business decisions.

1. Delivery of reporting projects via agile methodology.
2. Response and completion of ad-hoc requests.
3. Delivering large-scale reporting products via sprints.
4. Completion of recurring tasks to support assigned business division
5. Provision of analytical support to wider business.
Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
6. Previous experience of mining data from multiple systems.
7. Results focused with track record of successful delivery.
8. Data gathering with a focus on the right data for the right job.
9. Excellent verbal communication skills, specifically able to communicate technical information in simple language to end users.
10. Ability to communicate with people of all technical abilities.
11. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce and present complex information & reports to varied audiences.
12. Knowledge on Microsoft Office suite particularly focusing on Excel
13. Knowledge on Microsoft T-SQL
14. Degree level or equivalent education (Desirable)
15. Ability to analyse and manipulate data to produce informative reports (Desirable)
16. Right to work in the UK.
