My client, a leading manufacturer, is looking for a skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join the team and enhance their maintenance operations. Duties include:
* Preventative Maintenance: Develop and manage maintenance plans, prioritize work orders, and ensure schedules are met. Responsible for planning maintenance shutdown periods.
* CMMS Management: Maintain the CMMS system, asset register, and ensure data accuracy. Report all Engineering KPIs and life cycle costs of assets.
* Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during all maintenance activities.
* Stores Management: Set up and effectively operate maintenance stores, ordering and maintaining spare part stocks and expediting shortages or emergency needs.
* Coordination: Liaise with production and engineering, chair weekly planning meetings to align schedules. Assist in managing contractors on site and support with method statements and risk assessments.
Requirements for the Maintenance Coordinator:
* Must have a qualification in a subject of Engineering
* Experience managing CMMS systems
* Manufacturing background
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to prioritize workload and work to tight deadlines
