Job Summary
We’re hiring for a support worker in our Young People Community Support service in South Glos area. Do you enjoy working with children and young adults? We’re looking for outgoing, active and dynamic individuals with a can-do attitude and a desire to help someone live a full life!
As a young people support worker, you’ll be flexible to support across a week. This can include weekends, support after school, and in the school holidays. Lots of fun and engaging activities are planned for the people we support such as gym, sporting activities, and clubs.
The support you provide will be centred around each person’s values, preferences, and needs which could include taking someone for a sports lesson or helping parents during the school holidays. You may need to support with personal care and medication needs.
A full driving license and use of your own car is essential to take young people out to activities.
No day is ever the same, visit our website for more information. Full training to gain the nationally recognised Care Certificate. Time to complete training is paid. We cover the cost of DBS checks. Rotas are planned in advance. Successfully 'recommend a friend' to join us and you'll receive a thank-you payment.

2. To develop daily living skills
3. Support the people we support to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training, or friendships
4. To contribute to, develop, and implement the individuals care plans
5. To communicate effectively and professionally with people we support, their family members, and external professionals
6. Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support
