Job summary
To work as part of an administrative team providing high quality, responsive and co-ordinated service support for the Healthcare Team and Prison Staff and to ensure a high quality, resource efficient and cost-effective service to service users and staff.
To support our partner organisations by working in an integrated manner to ensure administration services are provided across Stoke Heath Integrated Care.

Main duties of the job
1. Be the first point of contact for internal staff and other external agencies for referrals, hospital appointments and general service enquiries. A broad range of internal appointments for various disciplines and all external secondary care appointments.
2. Receive and communicate messages accurately to the healthcare team as appropriate.
3. Log complaints as required and support the team in effective complaint management, as directed. The process will also include completing a DATIX form and photocopying of initial form and letter of reply to patient.
4. Deal with patient referrals ensuring that they are processed and co- ordinated with service specific protocols to assist with the quality of patient care. A broad range of internal appointments/referrals for various disciplines and all external secondary care appointments.
5. Co-ordinate clinical and non-clinical appointment arrangements, thi will include dealing with changes, cancellations and any additional need as required. To ensure that planned appointments make best use of time.
6. Utilise office systems including diaries and other information systems and undertake general office duties as necessary, including scanning, photocopying, shredding as part of an effective administration service.
7. Take minutes as required in the department and then type the minutes to a good quality.
