Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum and company car
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm, with flexibility required
Location: Dinnington, S25 3QU (other locations considered)
What can you expect?
As the Sub-Contractor Manager, you are responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with key suppliers required to support the operational delivery. To be able to provide a sub-contractor network that is cost effective and reliable in order to support the operational delivery across the air and water business.
* Manage relationships with sub-contractors and be responsible for the onboarding process
* Negotiate and agree agreed rates with sub-contractors for air & water works
* Keep and maintain a schedule of planned works
* Plan and manage the auditing of sub-contractors
* Produce and implement agreed KPI’s with sub-contractors
* Identify gaps within our sub-contractor offerings
* Report on performance
* Embed a structure to ensure all members of the team are trained and equipped appropriately to deliver the work.
* Take ownership and responsibility for delivering services for our key contracts.
* Liaise and work closely with the other regional ROMs, FSMs, Ams and Planning to achieve monthly compliance of all contractual work.
* Control departmental spend within agreed budgets and provide monthly detail report to your Manager.
* In the event of an incident/accident, involve SHEQ and take responsibility and represent Marlowe Environmental Services during any investigation, findings and corrective actions.
* Suggest and implement operational improvements and efficiencies

* Be able to communicate and implement decisions effectively
* Time management skills
* Sub Contractor management experience is desirable, and also Water treatment and air hygiene knowledge
* Valid driving License
* Compliant DBS and Security checks that can be customer specific
* Ability to work on your own and collaboratively as a team
